Fritz Brothers Guitars was started in 1988 by my brother John and me in Mobile, Alabama. Since then we have been joined by my beautiful wife, Christy. We are honored to have created custom guitars for some of the "greats," including Aerosmith, George Harrison, Roy Buchanan, Keith Richards, Darryl Jones, Randy Jackson, Gary Moore, Bill Bottrell and the Bangles, to name a few.

The Main Shop and Rough Mill:
To create the very best, you need the very best equipment and surroundings. Our beautiful new workshop, designed by architect Ed Powers, is located in the middle of the redwood forest in Albion, California, on the beautiful Pacific North Coast in Mendocino County. It is

state-of-the-art equipment ... combined with patented ... technology to put the very best playing experience in your hands

constructed primarily of redwood, harvested, cut and milled on-site. We overlook the ocean and are surrounded by fantastic vineyards. Having built and crafted many workshops over the years, I'm proud to say this one is the best one ever. It took two years to complete its outfitting with all of the specialized state-of-the-art equipment we combine with patented Fritz Brothers technology to put the very best playing experience in your hands.

The Rough Mill and CNC computer driven operation is located just down the street and operated by right-hand man Jerry Campbell. Here we mill the metal parts, re-saw and hand-craft the world's finest woods into the many models we offer.

The Crew:
Let me introduce some of the other folks who help make our vision a reality, starting with the irreplaceable electronics Research and Development team of Joe GoForth and Calvin Turnbull. Joe is an electronic chip designer from Silicon Valley and Calvin a record producing engineer from Los Angeles. Our advertising and web service is expertly handled by Marlene GoForth and our new web site is being developed by Dave Mathews (no, the other one) of KopiaWeb.

Odnem Productions:
Fritz Brothers has the good fortune of being associated with Odnem Productions, our farsighted audio-video partners who, besides producing our CD's and DVD's, are developing "Guitar Time", a reality television series hosted by me and featuring Christy and our kids and a host of familiar faces enjoying a jam or two with me and their favorite Fritz Brothers guitar. Recently they have taken on re-editing "Custom Made", the video featuring Roy Buchanan and his role in developing the Fritz Brothers Roy Buchanan Bluesmaster Guitar, our much sought after premier model.

The Boss:
Besides being an accomplished artist and musician, my wife Christy is the real whip- cracker here who makes sure we all are on the same page and on schedule—not to mention home schooling our two beautiful kids, Emerson and Greta, and writing, selling and keeping the books in order. Christy's constant vigilance and boundless energy are a large part of the synergy that makes up each Fritz Brothers Guitar.

Roger:
It's difficult talking up yourself without sounding like an egotistical jerk. Please just know that for over thirty-five years I have devoted my life to building world-class instruments and so should let our guitars "speak" for themselves.
