Roger Fritz was
born in a guitar case at a VFW dance. By age 13 he had built
his first guitar from 1/4" plywood with a 3 color crayon
sunburst finish. Another guitar soon followed and another
and another. I guess you could say he was a natural born
guitar savant.
It's been over forty years since it all
started, and a lot has happened, to say the least. Playing,
building, repairing and generally living the guitar for the
last 40 years--that pretty much sums it right up. Making
and repairing instruments for countless music heroes of course
would be enough, but having the pleasure of creating music
along the way has been fabulous too! Still, here have been
ups and downs along the way.
